Machine Feet - Sample Portfolio
Working with the correct foot on your sewing machine can make all the difference to your project. Your sewing machine will have arrived with basic machine feet but do you know what they all do?
1 - Straight stitch foot, 1/4" foot, zig-zag foot
2 - Walking foot, Teflon foot, Zipper feet, Buttonhole foot
3 - Overedge foot, Ditch foot, Blind hem foot, Narrow hem foot
4 - Pintucking foot, Embroidery foot, Satin stitch feet, Piping foot
5 - Sequin foot, Button sewing foot, Binder foot
6 - Beading foot, Fringe foot, Ruffler foot, Flower stitch foot
On this workshop, you will learn to identify the feet you have as well as see what else is available.
With approximately 25 different feet to try you will learn how to cord, bead, pipe, try different feet for stitching straight lines, hemming and taming difficult fabrics as well as neatening edges and creating decorative stitches.
After watching this video you will never have trouble choosing the correct foot for your project again.
The Sample Portfolio
The Sample Portfolio workshops allow you to build up a file of techniques to refer to whenever you need them. When you attend the first workshop you will receive a file to start building your portfolio then add to it on each workshop.
