The Tribeca blouse is a sewing pattern which, under its classic exterior, will give you the opportunity to let your creativity shine through. The pattern allows you to play with materials, colours and transparency of fabrics. Its cut-outs are well positioned to emphasize the bust. So many variations are available: as a blouse or a shirt, as a dress with or without buttons on the front, with or without a decorative bias to underline the yoke bands. The cut is slightly fitted, for a comfortable, feminine fit.
Sizing : From Size 6 - 24 (34 - 52 eu size)
Finished garment bust measurement from Size 6 = 90cm/35" --- Size 24 = 130cm/51"
Sewing level : intermediate to advanced
Fabrics & Notions
We recommend light weight fabrics for this pattern. There are lots of details so something that doesn't fray too much would be perfect. Also the fabric will need to hold well after pressing, so nothing too bouncy.
Viscose, tencel, cotton, poplin, satin or twill would all work.
- 20cms of G710 Lightweight fusible Interfacing
- Up to 11 buttons 10 - 15mm depending on the style you choose.

There is also a free version of the top without the buttons on the Maison Fauve website. We won't be making this version on the sew along however. If you would prefer this version you can find it here.
If you plan to join us on the day of the sew along, make sure you are ready to go before the start time. Claire suggests roughly cutting out the pattern pieces and pressing them, winding a bobbin, threading your machine (and overlocker too) steaming or washing your fabric & making a cup of tea or coffee!
On the day of the Sew Along, you will be able to join the meeting at the scheduled time. ie 10am GMT
Don't worry if you're late or can't make it as the recording will be uploaded as a course later.
On entry to the meeting all participants (except Claire & Amy) will be muted, we ask that you remain muted until the Q&A times.
We will be making use of the chat box for any questions during the day which Amy will be monitoring. Claire may be able to answer straight away or will wait until the breaks.
Breaks will occur throughout the sew along so that we can get a cup of tea and of course have some lunch! We will let you know the times of these breaks at the beginning of the session.
If you would prefer not to be seen on the recording please turn off your camera.
We are really looking forward to sewing with you all!
